If your account is limited, you have two options to choose from:
- Either you complete X instruction to verify your email address or phone number.
- Or you use X in the limited state.
And the limited state is temporary, as it is limited for a specified time.

What To Do If Your X Account Is Locked.
If your X account is locked, either you use your account in the temporary locked state or you verify the account ownership.
And you can either verify recaptcha, email address or phone number.
How To Verify Your X Account Ownership By Email.
- Login to your X account.
- You will see a message that lets you know to verify your account, select start.
- Choose send email to begin the process.
- Then check your email for a verification code from X.
- One you’ve entered the code, click verify to unlock your account.
Verify By Phone Number.
- Login to your accont.
- You’ll see a message that tells you that your account has been locked, select start.
- Enter the number you used to create the account.
- Then you’ll receive a phone call or text message from X with youe verification code.
- Once you’ve entered the code, click submit to unlock your account.
Verify By Recaptcha.
I think this is the simplest process of verification, cos you only need to pass a captcha challenge to confirm you are not a robot. Lol.
- Login to your account.
- Look for the message that tells you to please verify your account, then start.
- Then you’ll see a pinwheel or wait cursor while the captcha check complete in the background (You don’t need to do anything).
- Once it has confirmed you’re not a robot, click continue to open your account.
