This is introduced to encourage cashless system that is currently invoke to their customers because before the establishment of the transfer code, for one to make a transfer, he/she will be required to go to bank, sometimes stand in queues for a long period of time which could be tiring, time and transport fee wastage or you must have the mobile app which uses internet or data and was specified to only android, iOS phone users. But now with this new transfer code named *945# WemaMobile, whatever code service it is you want, can easily be dialed from your phone, irrespective of the phone model(Internet/ Non-Internet enabled phone).
Please note that only Wema customers are entitled to using the USSD transfer code and only customers with a valid mobile number registered with the Bank.

To make quick money transfer from your bank to any bank, simply dial *945*BeneficiaryAccountNumber*Amount# and follow the prompts shown. The maximum daily transfer amount is N100,000.
Account Balance/ Account Number Enquiry:
Need to check your balance without visiting the branch or an ATM, dial *945*0# provide your PIN when prompted and your balance is displayed. You can get your available and cleared balances anytime, anywhere, online real time.
Pin Reset:
Do you want to change your old pin, maybe for security reasons? Well then to change your USSD Pin, dial *945*00#, type in your current Pin and then confirm the new one when the prompt pops up. Then continue your usual transactions with the new pin.
How to recharge Airtime from your First Bank account via USSD code.
Simply dial *945*Amount# from your registered number. Also if you want to recharge for your family and friends, dial *945*Phone Number*Amount#. Recharge is available for all networks, just type in the network and input your PIN when prompted.
