It’s that time of the year when students seeking admission into various Universities in Nigeria gather at the gates to complete a mandatory screening process.
I have just been informed of the ongoing University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) Post-UTME screening process and it’s important you read completely to ensure you have all the information needed to gain admission into Uniport for the 2021 / 2022 academic session.
UNIPORT 2021 / 2022 JAMB UTME CUT OFF MARK
The main criteria to qualify for the Uniport 2021 / 2022 Post-UTME screening is that you must have scored above 150 marks in the just concluded Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).
A second criteria is that you selected the school UNIPORT as your first choice institution during filling of the UTME form. If you did not select UNIPORT as your first choice there always the option to Change your institution before applying for screening.
Changing of course to UNIPORT must be done on or before 13th of September, 2021.
Steps to Register UNIPORT POST-UTME Screening Online 2021 / 2022
- Visit the UNIPORT POST-UTME SCREENING REGISTRATION PORTAL
- Complete the NEW USER Registration form by entering the required information correctly. Enter your UTME Registration number, a valid email address, active phone number and create a password you can remember. The password will be used to login later to the Uniport Post UTME Portal to re-print photocard or check admission status. It is also very important that the email you provided is accessible because it will be required for the reset of forgotten passwords in the future.
- Login using the Reg number and password you just created and proceed to the next step which is payment of 2,000 Naira Registration fee. You can pay online using an ATM Card or print out the Remita RRR code to pay at a bank branch. Payment status should display as PAID before you proceed to the next steps.
It is recommended to print the payment slip page after completing payment. - Click “Photo Card” and ensure your Birthday, email address and phone number is correct. Also fill out your WAEC / NECO Result subjects and grades then submit.
- Click on Photocard again and upload a 1 x 1 Passport photograph of the candidate. You Must Re-print this photocard page a day before your UNIPORT screening to see exam time.
UNIPORT POST-UTME SCREENING 2021 / 2022 DEADLINE
The Registration Portal for Uniport Post UTME screening will be shutdown at exactly 16th Day of September, 2021. By midnight, all candidates who have not completed the forms, uploaded the o-level and made payment of 2,000 will not be accommodated at the school screening dates set.

Missed Screening Date ?
If you’re unable to meet this scheduled dates for your faculty due to circumstances, a final date has been set aside specially for those who could not make it.
27th of September, 2021 at 7 AM is the supplementary screening date.
