There seem to be some confusion about typing email addresses in uppercase characters and sending to either Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail or either email service providers. in this post we will show you what happens when you type an email address in all caps, no caps or first letter only caps.
Regardless of the email service provider that hosts your email, your email might be characterized by full-stop, underscore or numbers for uniqueness but capital letters in email addresses is irrelevant when creating the email except private company emails where first names and last names are usually capitalized ([email protected]).
When logging into your email caps actually do matter.
Ensure your password is typed in the exact character case used when creating the password (Upper or Lower case).
As long as the email email address you typed is correct, it doesn’t matter if it is in caps or not.
