NDLEA Interview For Candidates

The National Drug Law Enforcement (NDLEA) is a law enforcement agency in Nigeria and is inviting all the candidates that successfully pass the recent assessment test for screening/ interview.

The application began on the 12th of March and ended on the 8th of April 2023. The interviews will take place in the location indicated in the respective batches under which your name appear. The interview will run from Monday 5 to Friday 16 of June 2023 by 8am.

So in this article, I will tell you the day for your interview based on your batch. Just keep reading on.

The Superintendent Cadre and shortlisted Narcotic Agent/Assistant Cadre Candidates are advised to check their names carefully against the batch they belong and note the date they are requested to attend the screening/interview as any deviation from instructions would attract disqualification.

Centres For The NDLEA Interview.

The under-listed candidates are asked to report for their screening exercise which will be held in five centres, and the centres are:

  1. Abuja: NDLEA headquarter, No. 6 Port Harcourt crescent, off Gimbiya Street, Garki Area 11 Abuja, FCT.
  2. Port Harcourt: Rivers State Comand of NLEA, Artillery junction, Aba road, Port Harcourt.
  3. Lagos: NDLEA Liaison office, 4 Shaw road, Ikoyi, Lagos.
  4. Jos: NDLEA academy, Katton Rikkos, Jos, Plateau State.
  5. Kano: Kano State Command of NDLEA, Airport road, Kano.

Documents That You Should Bring For The Interview.

  • Original and photocopy of your credential in a file, including all relevant documents like professional certificate, certificate of state of origin, NYSC discharge/ exemption certificate, birth/ declaration of age certificate and academic/ statement of result.
  • Two recent passports (colored).
  • Completed copies of guarantors’ form.
  • A pair each of white (unmarked) round neck vests, navy blue shorts (without stripes), canvass and white socks.
  • Writing materials.
  • Trade Test certificate for Narcotic Assistant (if any).
  • Current certificate of medical fitness from a governmenetal hospital.
  • Printed NIN and BVN.

Groups And Batches Of Candidates For Interview.

Group 1.

NDLEA national headquarters Abuja screening centre. Candidates are batched for the screening as follows:

Names in batches- Superintendent Cadre.

  • Batch A of Group 1: Serial 1 to 150 ( Monday 5th June).
  • Batch B: Serial 151 to 300 (Tuesday 6th June).
  • Batch C: Serial 301 to 450 (Wednesday 7th June).
  • Batch D: Serial 451 to 525 (Thursday 8th June).

Group 2.

NDLEA Kano State Command screening centre. Candidates are to report for screening in the folowing order:

Names in batches- Superintendent Cadre.

  • Batch A of Group 2: Serial 526 to 775 (Monday 5th June).
  • Batch B: Serial 776 to 1,025 (Tuesday 6th June).
  • Batch C: Serial 1,026 to 1,275 (Wednesday 7th June).
  • Batch D: Serial 1,276 to 1,525 (Thursday 8th June)/
  • Batch E: Serial 1,526 to 1,753 (Friday 9th June).

Names in batches- Narcotic Agent/ Assistant Cadre.

  • Batch A of Group 2: Serial 1 to 250 (Saturday 10th June).
  • Batch B: Serial 251 to 500 (Monday 12 June).
  • Batch C: Serial 501 to 750 (Tuesday 13th June).
  • Batch D: Serial 751 to 1,000 (Wednesday 14th June).
  • Batch E: Serial 1,001 to 1,250 (Thursday 15th June).
  • Batch F: Serial 1,251 to 1,420 (Friday 16th).

Group3.

Former NDLEA National Headquarters Ikoyi Lagos interview centre. Candidates are to report in the following order.

Names in batches- Superintendent Cadre.

  • Batch A of Group 3: Serial 1,421 to 1570 (Friday 9th).
  • Batch B: Serial 1,571 to 1,720 (Saturday 10th).
  • Batch C: Serial 1,721 to 1,839 (Monday 12th).
  • Batch D: Serial 1,840 to 1,884 (Tuesday 13th)

Group 4.

NDLEA Academy Jos. Candidates, report in the following order:

Names in batches- Superintendent Cadre.

  • Batch A of Group 4: Serial 2,319 to 2,618 (Monday 5th).
  • Batch B: Serial 2,618 to 2,918 (Tuesday 6th).
  • Batch C: Serial 2,919 to 3,218 (Wednesday 7th).
  • Batch D: Serial 3,219 to 3,517 (Thursday 8th).
  • Batch E: Serial 3,518 to 3,639 (Friday 9th).

Names in batches- Narcotic Agent/ Assistant Cadre.

Group 5.

NDLEA Rivers State Command interview centre, Port Harcourt. Report in the following order.

Names in batches- Superintendent Cadre.

  • Batch A of Group 5: Serial 3,640 to 3,759 (Monday 5th).
  • Batch B: Serial 3,760 to 3,859 (Tuesday 6th).
  • Batch C: Serial 3,860 to 3,994 (Wednesday 7th).

Names in batches- Narcotic Agent/ Assistant Cadre.

  • Batch A of Group 5: Serial 3,481 to 3,641 (Thursday 8th).
  • Batch B: Serial 3,642 to 3,802 (Friday 9th).
  • Batch C: Serial 3,803 to 3,963 (Saturday 10th).

Shortlisted candidate that fails to attend this interview is disqualified. Shortlisted candidates will undergo drug integrity test.
