At a point, MultiChoice increased the subscription prices for DStv and GOtv, saying its because they are running at a loss. But after a while, they found out that they have lost millions of subscribers so they decided to readjust the subscription prices for GOtv and DStv.

MultiChoice Group has an account balance of over N31.6 billion with Heritage Bank, and guess what, the banking license of Heritage Bank has been revoked by CBN meaning the Central Bank of Nigeria has taken away Heritage Bank’s legal authentication to operate as a bank.
And news has it that people who still had money in Heritage Bank when it was shutdown can only take N5million.

- Compact+: N19,800 down from N25,000.
- Compact: 12,500 down from N15,700.
- Confam: N7,400 down from N9,300.
- Yanga: N4,200 down from N5,100.
- Padi: N2,950 down from N3,600.
GOtv Revised Prices.
- Supa+: N12,500 down from N15,700.
- Supa: N7,600 down from N9,600.
- Max: N5,700.
- Jolli: N3,950.
- Jinja: N2,700 down from N3,300.
