I know you normally use different USSD codes to recharge all your lines, check balance and do other things, but Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) has merged all networks code to be the same, meaning the same code that you use to recharge for MTN is the same code you will use to recharge for Glo.
And these USSD codes are codes used for recharging of airtime, data, checking of your balance and lots more. These codes makes it easy for you to recharge airtime, data and others.
Ever wanted to recharge airtime or data but don’t know the quick code, don’t worry, in this article I will tell you the USSD codes for recharging of airtime & data, and to do lots more. So just keep reading on.
Why Were All Networks USSD Codes Merged.
The National Communication Commission here in Nigeria requested that all Telecommunication networks should harmonize all their short codes (USSD codes), the aim is to remove the burden of memorizing all short codes of all networks so it will be easier for every Nigerian.
And I must say it is quite hard to memorize the short codes of all networks, for people that have MTN, Glo, Airtel and 9Mobile sim card, it is difficult to remember the code to recharge and check balance, etc for all networks. So harmonizing the short codes of all network was a good idea.
