This morning i’ve got the Huawei Ascend Y330-U01Android OS Smartphone on my desk.
Initial inspection reveals that the phone may have been rooted and some unwanted applications or adwares now pop up full screen at different times, downloading apps on its own and installing without users authorization.
That’s one downside of rooting Android phones or installing unverified Android Applications most people don’t know about.

How to Download and Install Stock Firmware for Huawei Ascend Y330-U01
WARNING:
The steps below will wipe all data including contacts, SMS, files and applications from the phone memory only. Ensure you’ve backed up all data to external sources such as Gmail contact syncing or copying files to memory card.
Phone battery should also be charged above 80% to avoid any interruptions during the stock firmware upgrade process.
- Click this link to Download Huawei Y330-U01 Stock Firmware – Android 4.2.2 ( 592 MB )
- Extract or Copy the dload folder into an SD Card, then insert SD Card into phone.
- Power off the Phone and Press/hold these three buttons all at the same time: Volume Up and down + Power.
Release buttons when upgrade begins.
If upgrade fails, you may need to reformat your SD Card, copy the Dload folder into it and try again. - If all goes well, your phone should reboot and return to the Welcome screen.
