How to Recover Files From Hard Drive – Formatted or Deleted From Recycle Bin

This tutorial is meant to guide you through the process of recovering your lost data or deleted files on any system hard drive. I know it is hard to believe by non tech geek that files can be recovered even after system has be formatted or reformatted over and over again.

Get it straight right now, data is indestructible. It is only being converted to file type that doesn’t show up. But when the system space is getting filled up, new installation or files will then take up the space of the deleted or formatted files. Thereby overwriting the deleted ones. Although on the visual reality you see the normal capacity when your recycle bin is emptied.

The good thing now is you know you can recover your files. But that shouldn’t be a guarantee for you not do your daily , weekly, monthly backup and follow measures to save important data.

Follow this steps to recover Deleted files from your formatted hard drive

  • Select the files by checking the boxes of the what you want recovered.
  • Create a folder in the location (Hard Drive)for the recovery.
  • Click on recover.

NOTE: The Recuva basic version software is free recovery tool. It also has a USB-Compatible version which means you can likely choose not to install the software in your system and run it from the USB.
