The Nigerian Army has opened their online application portal for submission of application forms from able bodied citizens that meet the physical, mental and educational requirements set to join 82nd Regular Recruit intake but this time the process has be refined to be better.

In the past, zoning of the recruitment process meant those in the south all had to report to the Zonal Head quarters for the test but this time each state will conduct the army recruitment test to avoid over crowding and meet some covid19 regulations.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS FOR NIGERIAN ARMY 2021 Regular Recruits
To successfully complete the online forms, please make sure you have ALL of the following documents because it will be a total waste of your time if you fill the forms and go for the exam without meeting these basic requirements.
- Proof of Nigerian Citizenship by birth. The documents needed to prove this are birth certificate / age declaration affidavit and a valid Government ID such as NIN or BVN print out.
- A local government Identification that proves your state of origin is required.
- The minimum age requirements to Join the Nigerian Army as Non-tradesman/woman is 18 while the maximum age 22. Tradesmen/women maximum age to join is 27. Please do not reduce your age or get affidavit to reduce it because that is a criminal offense.
- Good Health condition is a must for joining the Nigerian Army because those who suffer from any illness will be screened out. The disabled cannot apply for the Nigerian Army.
- Applicants must not have been convicted of a crime by a court of law.
- Minimum educational qualifications required to join the Army as regular recruit is WASCE (WAEC), NECO, NABTEB, Trade Test, City & Guilds Vocational training certificate.
How to Apply for Nigerian Army Regular Recruit Intake 2021
- The first step is to Visit the Nigerian Army Recruitment Portal from a Laptop or Desktop. Use of Mobile phone for this is not recommended.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click APPLY NOW.
- Create a username and password you can remember. It will be required to Print your screening date / center.
- Correctly fill out the form and scan / upload any required documents. Do not snap documents with phone as they may not be clear.
- Print out your completed form and also guarantors form. Both will be required at the screening center.

The Online Applications commenced on 21st September, 2021 and will end 26th November 2021.
