The smartphone company, Blackberry has said it’s making a comeback in 2021. The smartphone company was a success earlier on but lost the title as it had to battle with the growing iOS and android markets, forcing them to drop their OS and switch to android to lure people back to their phones which still didn’t turn out well.
In 2016, Blackberry was purchased by the company TCL, later this year, the company stated that it wouldn’t be making phones under that brand anymore
However, a Texas company called OnwardMobility is said to be managing the Famous Blackberry, the company is said to be prioritizing security and productivity for the phones without reducing the user experience. It will be 5G enabled when it is out. Sadly the new phone due to come out next year won’t use the old blackberry designs, however, it will be built for everyday use meaning some key specs will be available in the phone like a top notch camera.
The mass need for Android and iOS softwares pushed the Backberry company to regress and also the virtual keyboards which faded out the need for Blackberry’s keyboards. However, it’s still good to know that the company still progresses as its development is being carried out by other companies
